Her most prized possession is a blue crocheted mouse named Edgar. “Edgar was a gift from my late friend Myles (who was also a writer) and whenever I’m working at my desk, I look over at Edgar to remind myself that although writing may be a solitary act, I’m never truly writing alone.”
