Leora Fridman

Leora Fridman is a writer, educator, and fermenter based in Upstate New York / Mohican land. She’s currently working on a novel about self-surveillance and apocalyptic relationships with nature.

Leora’s last meal would be hummus, eggplant, pickles, and pita.
During her 32 birthday, she was participating an artist residency in rural Oregon in the snow: “I asked everyone I knew to send me a postcard. I made a fire and surrounded myself with a ring of postcards and read them very slowly and ate cake.”
The last book she recommended was Paradais by Fernanda Melchor.
