Kelsey Rose Williams is an archivist, historian, and curious dork based in Toulouse, France. She has a Duolingo language learning streak of over 1000 days, and has thrown herself into a life in France thanks to learning this enchanting language.
Kelsey’s best birthday was her 32nd: “I spent the weekend on a road trip through the south of France and Spain in an old Saab 900. We visited some modern architecture, toured Salvador Dali’s house, ate tapas, and even woke up to burros and chickens welcoming us into the day.”
Her childhood home was a ranch style house built in 1948 in Phoenix, Arizona. “Its elongated shape was broken up by red brick on the right and white siding on the left. It had charcoal grey shutters and a row of petite orange trees in the backyard. We only lived there for 8 years, but all of its details will be with me forever.”
A song that gets stuck in her head is “Fernando” by ABBA.
