Holly Eliza Temple is a graphic designer, writer, and food history enthusiast based in Manchester, UK. Currently, she is slowly attempting to transform the paved/concrete yard in her rented house, pulling up slabs where she can and seeing what will grow in the heavy clay soil.

The last book she recommended was We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson—”my sister lent it to me a few years ago because of its amazing food symbolism throughout, I read it in one sitting, and I’m now constantly telling people to read it (whether they asked for it or not).”
Her favorite tool is the old risograph printer in her shared studio, and all of its unpredictable quirks and error codes.
