Carrie Sijia Wang is an artist, educator, and observer based in New York, NY. She is currently developing a workshop series aiming to empower young people to form their own unique perspectives on AI chatbots and be part of critical dialogues as AI technology continues to take shape.

Carrie’s first memory of the internet was being anonymous in a chatroom in the 2000s. “I was new to the internet, and in my early teens. Everything felt exciting and mysterious.”
The weather she most enjoys is watching pouring rain from her window.
A skill she’d like to learn is how to speak a third language.

Carrie’s syllabus In Pursuit of Understanding and Connection: Three Experiments with Flawed Technologies is part of Knottings, a collaborative series between Syllabus + Pioneer Works.
